Who's that girl?

The concept of self has always been a source for experimental analysis of every form of art. Who we really are and what defines us are questions still unanswered thoroughly (or may it be we are asking the wrong question?). Are we what people perceive and think of us, are we what we show and tell, the way we act (the truth may be in the word itself), are we an existential mirror of one another, are we reflections or are we sources of light? Are we our body, are we our mind? And if not only that, if we are far more complicated and entwined and layered, then is it what lurks and whispers and shouts underneath us what makes us us? Are we our upbringing, our emotions, our happiness and pain, our experience, our believes, our values, our thoughts? And what if our thoughts do not trully belong to us, but are impulses and chemical reactions in our brain? What is the primal instinct to us? What is the intuition? Are we love, hate, guilt, affection, addiction?
Only thing that we know and still can not be entirely certain of is that we exist.Who we really are can not be a constant, static and solid thing, because we are evolving and changing as life goes on, we grow and fall apart, we colide and unite, we are movement

So I question myself:
